We are committed to advancing the field of electrochemical energy conversion through the rational design of high-performance electrocatalysts. Our work spans a broad range of topics, including water splitting, methane electrooxidation, and metal-air batteries. We specialize in developing 'Low-Pt' and 'No-Pt' catalyst systems, self-supported and binder-free electrodes, and high-rate oxygen evolution electrodes operating at industrial current densities. Recent efforts have focused on engineering multimetallic and high-entropy oxide/hydroxide systems that combine abundant transition metals with trace amounts of noble elements, achieving exceptional activity and stability in acidic and alkaline electrolytes. Our approach integrates nanoscale structural tuning, electrochemical dealloying, and surface electronic structure optimization to push the limits of electrocatalytic performance for real-world applications.
